The Outer Limits

Will Marley - Guitar/Vocals ~ Greg Pope - Drums/Bass/Vocals ~ Rob Schladensky - Drums / Bass

The Outer Limits (TOL) original 1987 lineup was Will Marley (guitar), Chris Dolak (bass) and Greg Pope (drums.) TOL played their first gig at Apollo's which was located in the Boone Mini Mall across from the record store. By the fall of 1987 Rob Schladensky (formerly of Square Red White) had replaced Dolak on bass. Rob was also an accomplished drummer and Greg could play gutar and bass so soon the two were switching off during shows. In !988 Steve King formerly of the Othermothers returned to Boone and joined The Outer Limits for a while as a second guitarist. During the late 1980s and into the early 1990s TOL played extensively in Boone as well as all over NC and surrounding states.
