THe Right Profile

1981 - I.G. Greer Hall, ASU Campus - (L to R) Steve Dubner, Michael Klutz, Richie Elison, Tim Fleming, Jeff Foster

Founding members Tim Flemming, Ritchie Ellison, Stephen J. Dubner and Jeffrey Dean Foster started The Right Profile in 1981 while they were students at ASU. The band played during their college years and earned quite a following in Boone and Blowing Rock. Their popularity spread down the mountain and through the southeast. After leaving ASU in the early 1980s the band continued to play all over the east coast and after a show in New York at CBGB they signed with Arista Records in 1986. More of the story including some pics and MP3s can be found here. An interesting article on www.deaconlight.com about the The Right Profile can be found here.
