The shirts were a big hit and sold out. I am considering doing a second run but must meet a minimum order with the printer. If you are interested in a shirt contact me by e-mail. The price will be $20 including shipping.

The BMA Reunion was a huge success - so what is next for the BMA? There is still a great deal of content that has not made its way to the site yet and over the next few months there will be content updates There is also audio, video, and photos from the reunion that will be put up on the site. The reunion page has links to the first round of photos with more coming in the next few weeks.

Updates will take place every other Sunday for the next month or so.

4.15.2007.

The BMA has received some excellent new content but due to serious scheduling constraints over the last week and the upcoming reunion this week there may not be a content update until after the reunion. My apologies.

This weeks site content update.

A set of new pics and four new songs have been added to the Not The Numbers page. The Square Red White page has an additional picture from a house party on PInnacle Drive in Boone from the early fall of 2006. See if you can spot your head in the photo.

4.1.2007

This weeks web site content update.
No Reason Why - the page has numerous new flyers and photos.
Discord - the page has been cleaned up and a new flyers and a set list have been added.
Square Red White - a personal triumph: finally a decent copy of the SRW 1986 five song demo tape has been found which included the original J-card insert for the cassette. The poorer quality mp3 files have been replaced and the two other songs from the demo have been added.

Reunion arrangements and planning continue. This weekend No Reason Why, Square Red White and the earth shaking CSG rehearsed until their fingers bled. Discord and PARD have also been hard at work for the upcoming reunion.

3.18.2007

This weeks site content update is audio (finally ) for The Right Profile page

It's been a crazy busy week at the BMA. The old G3 iBook that has been the work engine for the entire project finally succumbed to logic board failure. On Friday I bought a new MacBook to take on the task. All the BMA data was triple backed up so it's just a matter of getting some applications sorted out. Also on Friday the BIG package arrived from Seattle which contains lots of photos, audio, and flyers from The Right Profile, Not The Numbers, Discord, Square Red White, Fear and Loathing (PARD), Burning Giraffe and And Siamese Urbain. It will take a week or two to sort it all but it will get done! Check back for updates.

No Reason Why had a marathon practice day on Saturday which included all three original bass players. The day went well and you can expect an excellent set from NRW at the reunion! All the other bands have been practicing too and it should be a really exciting night of original Boone music with a few fun covers thrown in. There will also be surprise performances from some 1979-1990 rockers not on the official list!

Things are looking good for the reunion! The Gamekeeper had some extensive remodeling done over the last two weeks and a nice place looks even better! Reunion attendance is growing and we are pleased to hear of so many people flying in from the west coast and the northeast to make it.

If you plan to attend the please check the reunion page for important information.

3.14.2007

The No Reason Why page has received a preliminary update but there is more NRW stuff on the way! I have just received a tracking id# for a package arriving from the PNW with a huge stash of audio and images for several or the bands in the archive. I will process and migrate content to the site as fast as possible.

3.11.2007

This weeks update is heavy on content.  As the reunion draws nearer, there will be a big push to get all the content up by the end of March if possible but submissions will still be accepted and updated as time permits. Pages are now up for The Dead Wives of Jerry Lee Lewis and Hemo Boy. The Right Profile page has lots of new images. Images have been added to the Voce page. The Dionysian Tapestry page now has excellent photos from the 10.30 86 show with Square Red White. The Not the Numbers page has several new images. A photo has been added to the Burning GIraffe page from a 1988 ASU Pub gig with the Outer Limits.

3.4.2007

The GanGrene page has been completely remodeled into a special three part section with extensive audio and image files This is a really cool page that took a lot of work! In other news No Reason Why spent the day rehearsing at the Gamekeeper in Boone - prepare to rock! People are now flying in from the west coast to attend the reunion and there will be some additional surprise musical guest.

The Burning Giraffe page has been redone in the new style and a flyer from 1988 has been added. A few new bands have been added to 1985-1990 list on the band directory page. New content has been gathered and will be rolled out as soon as it can be edited. Despite the holidays there will be updates on the next two Sundays.

12.19.2006

December has proved to be a much busier month then expected with the result being an interruption in the regular cycle of updates. Please forgive me! Although nothing has been put on the site a large amount of audio and visual material has been gathered. Look for updates in the coming weeks from And Siamese Urbain, Model Testing, Not The Numbers, Seeing fields, Discord, Dead Wives of Jerry Lee Lewis. Toys Don't Hate and much more. The next content update will made on 12.21.06.

Traffic on the Boone Music Archive myspace page has really picked up speed. Lots of band members and other folks can be found there. You can view the page and see what's up at

http://www.myspace.com/boonemusicarchive

but you will need to set up an account to contact anyone or post comments. This is less creepy any annoying than one would think and you can set the prefs on your account to be private if you prefer. If you have a myspace account please make The Boone Archive a top friend to help spread the word!

12.3.2006

This weeks update is all about audio content. New audio files have been added to the the pages for The Outer Limits, Life After Lunch, and Psycho Acoustics R&D (Fear and Loathing). A few bands have been added to the band guide but there is not any content available yet. There has been a tremendous amount of activity on the Boone Music Archive myspace page. Please visit the to get in touch with band members and friends. Please add the BMA to your top friends list and spread the word. Music Notes

11.5.2006

This week was much more productive! Pages have been added for all the bands in the 1979-1983 section. There is some interesting content for some of the bands and more to come soon. Two new audio files have bleen added to the Burning Giraffe audio page. There is now a Life After Lunch page and I am in possession of 8 songs recorded on 4 track during late 1988 or early 1989. The main page also have received a redo. That may happen frequently.

10.29.2006

Most of this week was spent transferring No Reason Why and Discord live audio to digital. Due to unforeseen issues this weeks update is not as complete as it should be. Discord's audio page has been redone and there are now live tracks as well the 1988 Crime cassette.

10.22.2006

Scanned over 150 photos of Discord and Gangrene LTD. Obtained photos and flyers for The Othermothers, The Right Profile, Three Hits and a Miss, PREP shows. Redid the band page to reflect new scope for the web site - 1979 to 1990. SRW had its first full practice in preparation for the Alt Rock Reunion in April 2007. It's been a busy week so the only content updates are to the Discord photo page and the new layout for the band directory.

10.17.20

Added a few pictures to the No Reason Why pics page.

10.15.2006

Audio and an unauthorized history of Not The Numbers has been posted. Burning Giraffe's page is now up with Audio and photos. Their complicated history will have to be sorted out. No Reason Why is now up with audio, video, pics, flyers and misc. There is more NRW audio and video to come later this month.

10.10.2006

Mid-week update to correct face errors in tables. Added contact info and plea for source materiel to each page. Copyright BS added.

10.7.2006

Score! A trip to Boone this weekend produced a wealth of material - dozens of photos of Discord playing in Boone at various venues, live tapes, and some press material. Also, an oral history of the Boone music scene from 1979 to 1985 along with band photos. The site will have to expand to include this time frame and these bands. It will take some time to sort it all out.

Work on the No Reason Why page continues and should be completed in time for next weeks update.

The reunion date is finalized for 4.21.2007.

10.1.2006

This web site is a work in progress. Over the next few months photos, audio files, flyers, interviews and stories will be added. Typically, Updates will happen on Sunday night. For the remainder of 2006 and certainly into 2007 there will be updates each week.
