The Vibrosonics (named for one of the greatest Fender guitar amps of all time) played a mix of originals and covers with a bluesy feel and classic rock feel. The band started in 1983 or 84 as a trio and later added vocalist Steve Engler and changed drummers. The Virbosonics were often found playing at parties and on campus throughout the mid 80s. Guitarist Andy Verville also played guitar in the Opposition and founded Discord in 1984. Bassist Rob Baskerville went on to found the Internationally renowned blue band The King Bees.
